Hey there,

My name is Nathalie Kowalczyk, I'm an illustration artist and marine biologist based in Brittany.
Welcome to this little spot dedicated to my scientific illustration work.

In my drawings you'll often find algae and plancton, but some other species are sometimes also invited, like cats and octopus.
In traditional art, I like to draw in a cartoon style using ink, watercolours and colour pencils.
In digital art, I also use the cartoonish soft colours and ink outlines. I use open source softwares : Inkscape (vector graphics) and Krita (raster).
